Well, the day has finally arrived. Thinking back to last May when David Cook finally won the thing, I remember thinking that I'd be sure to buy this album the day it came out. However, after hearing the first couple of singles from the album I'm not quite so enthusiastic.
I did a quick listen of each track (on Amazon
UPDATE: I bought the album for $9.00 on iTunes. I got $0.99 off since I purchased the "Time of My Life" single when it first came out.
Question of the Day: What do you think? Are you going to/have you bought this album?

Do you have an RSS feed enabled for casadwyer.com?
Yes we do:
http://casadwyer.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
If you usually enter a blog's address into an RSS reader, try entering it as "http://casadwyer.blogspot.com" instead of "http://www.casadwyer.com". I see in Google Reader it can figure it out with casadwyer.blogspot.com but cannot with www.casadwyer.com.
Let me know if this doesn't clear it up.
So how's the album? I still haven't given it a chance, based on the fact that I don't like the single. Is the rest of the album better than the first single?
It is not good. There's a couple of decent songs (the ones that according to the credits David Cook wrote himself or wrote with the assistance of only 1 other person). They are "Mr. Sensitive" and "A Daily AntheM". Give those a listen if you'd like to hear the heights this album reaches. Overall, the album is listenable but it is entirely predictable and I formulaic. Very disappointing.
