Will Sleeps Through Night!

After 9 long months of struggle, Will finally did it. He went to bed at 7:00PM, woke up at 10:00PM for some help finding his "bink", went back to bed and (after a couple of brief periods of fussing) woke cheerfully at 7:00AM. Woo hoo! I'm chalking it up as the first time he slept through the night.

Thanks, Will. And congratulations on this milestone.

Photo credits go to our friend and neighbor Iona. She captured this image at a more pensive moment since usually eye contact yields a big toothy grin.

Congrats! Wow...here's to many sleep-full nights for you guys in the future. Our kids both have slept through the night from about 2.5 months (11 lbs) on. I am counting us lucky right now.

Hi Deanna. Just a fast congrats on a huge milestone. I know how much a good nights sleep means to a mom of two. I know how lucky I've been to have both our kids sleep through the night by 8 weeks old. It's rare. I hope this is the start of a new trend for Will.

And both the boys are just simply adorable. Hopefully you'll plan a trip out to Arizona soon so we can see you all.

Take care,
Nicole

I'll just add to the *bragging* of other postees here and say that both my kids slept through the night at 8 weeks, and those first 8weeks were h*!^. So I can't imagine 9 months of that! You guys are great parents. Cheers for better shut-eye.

I'm afraid Bob did his victory dance prematurely. Although Will is sleeping a longer stretch, he's still not making it long enough. Mamas are crabby when they start the day at 5:00am with a crying baby. Come to think of it, this Mama is crabby sometimes even when she starts the day at a more reasonable hour.

Thank you all though for your encouragement -- I know better nights lie ahead.
